The most spectacular moment is the opening, when the first wonderful hint of bergamot greets us, as clear and as sparkling as a diamond. Petitgrain, lemon and orange lend a typical citric depth and here, as with the bergamot, one senses that only raw ingredients of the highest quality have been used. Top notes of bergamot and lime remind us of the birthplace of this beloved creation while mid notes of rose and mint add continuity to the brightness with their floral draw. The landscape and terrain of Italy is perfectly portrayed through this olfactory expression of art and brilliance. A base of cedar eventually closes the fragrance while amber and musk signify the journey's end. Victorian is our expression of this masterpiece, and we've chosen to not tread far from the homeland.
